How do I sign up?

Submit your website through our Get Started Form. Once your site has been scanned and processed, Chinafy will auto-generate a plan for you to subscribe to. 

If you have a login site, custom build or enterprise needs, submit your site and our sales team will be in touch within 24 hours via email. They’ll be happy to answer your questions and work directly with you to generate a Chinafy plan. 

Do I need an ICP to use Chinafy?

No, you will not require an ICP license. Chinafy utilizes an optimised network of offshore, near-China content delivery networks and servers instead of onshore hosting. Learn more about getting an ICP in China and whether this is the right approach for your company.

My website is officially blocked/censored. Can Chinafy help?

No. Chinafy complies with the Chinese Ministry of Information and Information Technology (“MIIT”) and in fact helps websites who have blocked resources, to comply. 
 
Oftentimes, a website’s content is not blocked (or censored) in China - but its resources (e.g. Youtube, Google, Twitter) may be.
 
So -
If you’re "google.com" and are blocked in China, can we help you? No. 
If you’re a website with blocked google resources and no censored content? Absolutely.

Do I need a China web host or server?

No. All Chinafy plans include fully-managed cloud hosting and CDN management for the Chinafy version of your site. 

Is there a discount for annual subscriptions?

For those on our Starter Plan, yes, you save 10% off subscriptions with our annual plan. Other per site discounts are offered on up-front longer term commitments or commitments of 3+ sites.

Do you support invoicing instead of credit card via stripe? 

Yes! We support invoicing for websites on an annual basis or for those under our Enterprise plan.

Do you offer Enterprise services?

Yes. Our Enterprise services combines Chinafy’s most advanced features alongside access to a dedicated account manager, expedited support, white glove services, vendor approval processes and powerful security features. Enquire about Chinafy for enterprise here.

Can I cancel my Chinafy service?

You can stop your service any time. You can cancel your plan directly from your Chinafy dashboard by Deleting your Site from our system. No-questions-asked or hidden termination fees. 

After cancelling, you will simply need to revert back to your original DNS settings. Your site’s optimisation rules will exist for 14 days thereafter in case you change your mind, then be deleted. Keep in mind that optimisation rules will no longer apply and that you will require set-up again if you wish to Chinafy your site after this period. 

What does my set-up and platform fee include?

Set-up includes: Initial implementation & System Set-Up with our in-house engineers, SSL certificate for Chinafy file delivery, and basic onboarding assistance to Go Live. All Chinafy subscriptions include: 10 GB of fully managed China CDN Bandwidth per month, Automated rule-based resource optimization (HTML, JS, CSS), Standard Customer Success Support

This is because every site is unique and we want to ensure that you get off on the right footing. Chinafying is more than implementing technical optimisations, it is about setting a strong foundation for your company to win Chinese customers. We take that seriously.

As part of this onboarding process, we have a team of technical experts who review any automated changes and run a wide-range of analyses internally, before providing steps for your website to ‘Go Live’. 

Does Chinafy work with [name any CMS]? 

Yes! Chinafy is compatible with any CMS that you may currently be using. Chinafy most often works with Wordpress, Adobe, Magento, Shopify, Pantheon sites and more.

Our technology is designed as a layer above your website, so is compatible with any CMS that you may be currently using.
